The choice of operating facility can depend on the degree of surgery, the patient’s place of residence, the patient’s preference for comfort, and general scheduling issues. Operating facility fees can vary, especially between private suites and hospitals, as well as between high demand surgery times and less-requested slots. However, in general, operating room fees may range from about $650 - $1850.
